The Silver Screen and Mad Phat Books

Posted by Scott in general

Quick movie update for all my peeps out there. Spiderman 2 is a spectacular summer flick and ten times better than the original. Farenheit 9/11 is a jaw dropping eye opener that everyone should see. It’s nice to see someone brave enough to present the truth rather than just spoonfeed the same old junk we’ve been told over and over again for the past four years. Shrek 2 is a is pretty damn funny but Antonio Banderas steals the show as Puss N’ Boots. I can’t wait to see a spin off film called Donkey and Puss N’ Boots Wild Ride. I’ll have more details up later. The two latest Michael Moore books “Stupid White Men” and “Dude, Where’s My Country” are knock out hits but the more entertaining one is the earlier one, “Stupid White Men.” If you’re into his style, I also recommend “Downsize This” and “Adventures in a TV Nation.” I also just started reading “The DaVinci Code” and am very impressed so far. I’ll add this to the list of things to talk about when I am finished with it. Sorry for the short update but will be back hopefully this weekend with more in depth reviews and maybe a bickering or two about the Lakers situation. It’s not looking like a very promising year for them. I see a dynasty crumbling.
