Pearly Whites

Posted by Scott in family

Jaden had his first trip to the dentist last week and it went pretty darn good. His dentist let him test out all the tools first and explained to him what the sugar bugs were (that’s cavities for all of us that are kid-speak deficient). Anyway here’s the little guy check out his x-rays!

Dude, this photo rocks. Remove the green cast and it will be a real framer!

But how come little kids only have to have three x-rays? I went to the dentist earlier this month and had to endure something like 13 drooling bite-downs for the x-ray machine. (I imagine the answer lies in their having fewer teeth than adults.)

Thanks man and it’s only slightly cropped from the original. I’ll have to tweak with the colors later this weekend although the greenish hue does give it a noir feel, don’t it?

Hmmm . . . Not sure if you want to suggest a noir setting here. “Jaden reviews the forensic evidence recovered from the playground murder site.”

For the adjustment, try Curves on the Blue channel (i.e. Curves, then select the blue channel in the Curves box). Put a point on the line and change Input to 25 and Output to 51. I think this gives a realistic look.
