Breaking the Silence
Whew! The lull is over. Anyway, things been a bit busy over here lately and I just haven’t been able to sit down and write some stuff.
I’ll start with a rundown since my last post and the first thing that happened was Jaden’s 2nd birthday. We celebrated all weekend long and this time kept it very low key. My mom came out from Vegas all weekend to celebrate with us and just our friends Lori, Damien, and their daughter Laurel came over on Sunday to spend the day with us and then head over to Knott’s Berry Farm for fun at Camp Snoopy. But little did we know that the wonderful cool weather we had all summer would end that very day. Saturday was pleasant enough being somewhere in the low 80s and then sunday hit us with a vengeance. It reached 102 degrees and that’s here at our house by the beach! Needless to say, we cancelled the trip to Knott’s Berry Farm and spent the day here at home with the blow-up Jar Jar pool and lots of cold ice water and cake! We still had a pretty good time and Jaden got some fun new stuff including a bunch of Wiggles toys, some cool clothes, and a new fold away spiderman couch! Very cool! I can’t believe the little guy is 2 years old! Wow, the time flies.
