This Is Halloween

Posted by Scott in family

Well this year was a packed Halloween-o-rama. The Saturday before Halloween was an eventful one. Jaden attended one of his new friend’s birthday party at this cool gym place. The place was loaded with spring boards, trampolines, bouncy house and all sorts of cushy/bouncy things to run in to or jump off. It’s like the ultimate kids gone wild and crazy time minus any Lord of the Flies badness.

After the birthday party, we headed over to our friends Kim and Tracy’s place for a pumpkin carving party. They had their huge jumper going in the backyard for the kids and plenty fun stuff for everyone. Karen, Jaden and I carved out some wicked cool pumpkins and then hung out and took pictures of event, pumpkins and costumes.

Halloween day was a blast. Jaden’s school does this event called Trunk or Treat where a lot of the parent’s bring their cars onto school property, line them all up and decorate the trunks like haunted house and such. The kids all line up and go trick or treating around the cars and get spooky surprises and candy. Then they end event with a big parade to show off all the different costumes. Later that night we headed down to our old stompin’ grounds in Belmont Shore for their annual local vendors Halloween night and went up and down the street with friends Lori, Laurel, Isabel, and Kristen. Damien met us later and I unfortunately had to leave by this time for my first night class of the new trimester.
