My Seinfeld of the Day

Posted by Scott in school

Cell phone talkers get a bad rap although I believe in most cases they are justifiably deserved, especially you textaholics out there! But my latest run in with these low-lives happened at my school.

Interior - College Administration Office

Slacker dude hears a distinctive ring coming from his pocket and motions to answer it. He then proceeds to strike up a slackerific conversation with supposed friend on the other end of the cellular transmission. Then shockingly proceeds to move out of the room in a mock courteous gesture but then stops surprisingly right smack in the middle of the doorway!

Enter the Protagonist

Super cool guy Scott tries to enter the administration office but is blocked cell-head lame-o guy.

Scott

“Are you seriously talking in a doorway, on a cell phone? Do you know you just brought all cell phone users down another notch on the most hated list.

Slacker Dude

*chuckles uncomfortably while staring weirdly at Cool Guy Scott but still doesn’t move*

Scott

Do I really have to ask you move?

Slacker Dude

*Looking confused on how to handle two things at once slowly shuffles aside*

Do we need to offer classes on cell phone etiquette now? Is this what the world is coming to? Sadly the movie Idiocracy is becoming more of a reality every day. Just remember “Brawndo’s got what plants crave. It’s got electrolytes.” and all was good in our kick ass nation!

The old saying from the 60s was “never trust anyone over 30″, but now that we are over 30, I’m finding the new rule is “never engage in conversation with anyone UNDER 30.” It’s just not satisfying.

    “Water? Like out the toilet?”

    Amen brother!
