Tonight, I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight!
Got my first taste of Rock Band today at my buddy Joe’s house where Joe mostly jammed on guitar, Monique (whose about to pop with their first child) screamed out vocals (gettin’ her used to that rock n’ roll already!) and me on drums! It took me a few tunes to get any sense of rhythm down but finally got the hang of it… and… had a BLAST!! That is serious fun people! I can’t wait to play again and maybe someday soon I’ll be picking this game up myself. Anyway, before I get to big for my britches here’s my progression from garage punk to Rock superstar!

I love Rock Band. I’ve got two bands going so far. One is called Spilled Ice and it has Shannon on vocals, my son on guitar and me on drums. The other one is just my son and I trading off between guitar and bass. I think that one is called Cow Tub (which was our band name from Guitar Hero 1). I gotta drum up some more local interest here so I can get a four piece going… or I might have to wait a few years until my daughters are older.

That was fun! You gotta be one of the most animated rock band players I’ve have the pleasure of jamming with, ROCK ON!!!
