Year 05 - Part One, Loss
So the year started off not so good for the Evanskeys. Karen’s mom, who had suffered a bad fall in November and had two strokes a week after that past away in January. She was really showing signs of recovery and recognized our voices most of the time when we would visit her at the rehabilitation center. She would especially light up whenever she would here Jaden’s voice. Those three months were an extremely emotional time and it really affected Karen quite a bit and rest of us too. Karen has been doing much better with her loss the last month or so and Jaden and I have been helping her through it. We wanted to thank everyone who has supported us through these very difficult times. Our love and deepest appreciation to all of you for the kind words of hope and peace and for all beautiful cards that were sent. Bernice was a ver special mother, grandmother, and lady, we love you very much and you will be missed deeply. God Bless.

Karen and Scott…I am sorry to hear the sad news. I hope that you are both doing well and that you will find peace in all that has happened.
