Elementary My Dear Readers
Hello People,
You may (or may not) be asking yourselves “Why has Scott been all ghosty-like from his Web site lately?” Well the sad, simple truth is school has been hell… well not school itself but rather the admissions and registrations side of it. Yes Matt Groeing’s early work “School is Hell” rings so true to my ears now.
Anyway, all seems to have worked itself out and I am now doing classes at two colleges. The funny thing is the Professor for my English class is connected closely to an old 80s-90s band I used to see quite often (20 times to be exact) back in my heyday. So after catching up on old times through the band ,my first assignment in that class was reading Arthur Conan Doyle’s “A Scandal in Bohemia” which is a wonderful Sherlock Holmes short story. The early detective stories and mysteries of the late 19th century and early 20th century have fascinated me for many years. I have been a pretty consistent Agatha Christie fan since around 1980 when I received a gift set of her work with some of my favorites novels from her including “Evil Under the Sun” and “Cards on the Table.” Well as more stuff comes up I will get back to posting on a regular basis and this was just a quick post to let you all know I am still here and haven’t forgotten about you.
