Darth Dew
Okay I’ve never been the biggest Mountain Dew fan. It’s good. It’s loaded with caffeine. But the flavor never gelled for me. But it certainly made “Dew Junkies” outta of my friends. Then a buddy of mine (who needs a shout out for having his third child), Jon, introduced me to Mountain Dew’s “Pitch Black,” which seems to be seasonal much like my other favorite eats, Booberry cereal, and, well, I was hooked! But how could they possibly top that short-lived goodness? By cross promoting with the last installment of Star Wars, making it into a slurpee, and slapping an all encompassing Darth Vader topper onto it in all his glorious bad-ass-ness. Now, you get all the jolt of “Pitch Black” with the uncertainty of a brain freeze all the while you are staring down the visage of one of greatest villians of all time. Sweeeeeeeet Bliss is here my friends!

oh my gosh-as soon as I saw that commercial the other day, I immediately thought of you and my brother Mac-racing down to collect as many cups as possible-the two biggest Star Wars junkies I know! Hope you guys had an eventful Cinco De Mayo!
