It’s sad… this country has bred a culture of selfishness. There’s no sense of community anymore, at least not in the “me first” states. That’s one of the reasons we left So. Cal. Out here in layover country, I was pleasantly shocked at the outpouring of support, food and help from all aspects of the community while my wife was recovering from surgery. Thankfully, it’s a big enough country that there are different little worlds mixed in.

Usually people with such bad manners go out of their way to avoid eye contact. So I’ve been doing a lot of deep stares lately. I think you have something with the Clint Eastwood idea. Maybe spurs would help too…
