Getting Onboard with WordPress
Hey everyone, it’s great to be out here dong this WordPress/Blog thing and can’t wait to be posting updates on a more regular basis. Anyway, I had a post all ready to go but it got lost in translation so to speak and if I can’t scare it up from whatever hole in my computer its hiding I’m going to have to rewrite the darn thing. So with my fingers crossed and a little luck I should have my lengthy post up tomorrow sometime. Until then, everyone here at the Evanskey camp is doing just fine. Karen and I had a little break while my mom was in town and got a chance to go to my works 30th anniversary party and we also saw a couple of flicks all of which are in my lost post. Right now I’m enjoying some Kill Bill - Vol. 2 and trying to figure out how to post images into my main entries. If anyone with any WordPress knowledge knows how to post images into a new post or knows of a place that would point me in the right direction, I would be muchos gracias. I’ll hit the reply.

Two things: (1) Use a different text editor or word processor to compose your posts so that you can save them on your hard drive. When they’re ready, copy and paste them into WordPress.
(2) For images: upload your images somewhere on your site (like an images folder or a media folder) and then use the img tag to include them in your post. While editing, there’s an img button above the editing area that can assist you.

Hey, I just did a Google search on “WordPress image” and this was one of the first things that came up. It might be helpful: http://www.curioso.org/2004/05/28/pictpress-091/
