I know, It’s Only Rock N’ Roll, But I Like It

Our friends Cris and Andy invited us a while back to go see the Rolling Stones in concert and it just happened to work out that my mom was going to be in town and could watch Jaden so we accepted and off we went to Dodger stadium to see a spectacular show by an amazing band. My only complaint is they could have played at least 3-5 more songs to make the evening feel a little more fulfilling, especially “You Can’t Always Get What Want.” The lack of that song alone in their set left me feeling a little empty. But to see them play one of my favorites and a not as well-known asmost of their hits,”Dead Flowers”slightly improvedthat feeling real quick. Of course, the thrilling moment was watching them perform “Sympothy for theDevil”… it was spooky and breathtaking wrapped up in a neat little package of weird images that flashed before us on the 4-story video screen behind Mick. Still, astunning show especially knowning that they are all I believe in their sixtiesperforming and running around like madmen up on stage. I was able to capture the openingsong, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, in full 640×480 video and stereo sound in Quicktime format if anyone wants to check it out let me know. Otherwise, here are a few pics from the wonderful evening.
